* Length includes half the waistband (≈7 cm). If worn high or low, the measurement varies by ±7 cm, as a skirt is generally worn.
Important notes:
- Size selection is based on waist measurement.
- The hips are only used as a reference for the passage of the skirt when wearing it.
- The “minimum waist” measurement corresponds to the measurement in which the skirt remains fixed at the waist.
- Thanks to the elasticity of the fabric, each size fits comfortably up to the maximum indicated measurement.
- Hip measurements are indicative: the skirt usually falls loosely and is not tight at the hips.
How to choose the size
The main measurement to consider is the waist circumference, because this is the point at which the skirt must remain tight and support the weight of the garment.
- The minimum waist measurement indicated corresponds to the tightest fit, the one that guarantees stability.
- The maximum waist measurement represents the limit up to which the elastic can adapt without losing comfort.
- To put on the skirt, it must fit over the hips: for this reason, the table also includes approximate hip measurements. These do not affect the fit, but are only used to ensure the skirt fits easily.
The length of the skirt is measured from the middle of the waistband (≈7 cm below the natural waist). If you wear the band all the way up or all the way down, the length may vary by approximately ±7 cm.
Personalization
If you would like a garment tailored to your measurements, you can add the following in the order notes:
- waist circumference
- hip circumference
- skirt/trouser length or your total height
Additionally, you can request to personalize the name on the label, to make the item unique and special.
